Curious about Wallaby Hawaii? There is a small and somewhat hidden population of wallabies that arrived on the islands a century ago.

The Seed Library:
911 Please
Making a call to the Christ within, akin to a 911 emergency assistance call, offers a powerful way to seek immediate help and guidance in times of need. Just as dialing 911 connects us to emergency services, reaching out to the Christ consciousness within us taps into a higher source of wisdom, love, and support. This simple act of calling upon the divine presence within us can provide a sense of comfort, clarity, and reassurance, offering a lifeline in moments of distress or uncertainty. By acknowledging and seeking help from the Christ within, we open ourselves up to receiving divine guidance and strength to navigate challenges with grace and resilience. This connection, rooted in love and faith, serves as a reminder that we are never alone, and that we can always call upon the infinite wisdom and love that resides within us for assistance in times of need.

Join us on the Big Island to explore and connect to the beautiful land of Hawaii. Retreat March 16-23, 2024

In the lush expanse of the Big Island, nestled amidst the verdant forests and shimmering waters, resides the ethereal presence of the Goddess Mainon, keeper of air and guardian of all living beings. With flowing locks of silver and eyes that reflect the boundless sky above, she embodies the essence of freedom, clarity, and grace that permeates the very air we breathe.

As the gentle zephyrs caress the land, whispering ancient tales of wisdom and renewal, Mainon's divine presence is felt in every rustle of leaves and every breath of wind that carries the songs of birds and the laughter of children. Her soft, melodic voice resonates with the harmonious symphony of nature, guiding travelers on their journey of self-discovery and connection to the sacred elements that sustain life.

Those who seek Mainon's blessings are greeted with a sense of lightness and joy that lifts their spirits and nourishes their souls, infusing them with a sense of purpose and clarity that transcends earthly confines. As the keeper of air on the Big Island, Mainon invites all beings to embrace the boundless possibilities that lie within the currents of the wind, offering a renewed sense of hope, inspiration, and wonder in the infinite expanse of the sky above.

Never pluck a Lehua blossom

There is an interesting Hawaiian legend tied to the Ohia tree and its flower, the Lehua blossom. The legend is tied to the volcano goddess, Pele. This story explains that if you pluck this flower, it will rain on the same day (for a tragic reason).

The legend says that one day Pele met a handsome warrior named Ohia and she asked him to marry her. Ohia, however, had already pledged his love to Lehua. Pele was furious when Ohia turned down her marriage proposal, so she turned Ohia into a twisted tree.

Lehua was heartbroken, of course. The gods took pity on Lehua and decided it was an injustice to have Ohia and Lehua separated. They thus turned Lehua into a flower on the Ohia tree so that the two lovers would be forever joined together.

So remember, Hawaiian folklore says that if you pluck this flower you are separating the lovers, and that day it will rain.

Good day, Beloved Family of Seekers

I want to reflect upon the profound interconnectedness between ourselves and the natural world, particularly the beautiful concept of a tree and its mirror of our own lives. As we journey through this thing called life, let us remember the importance of cultivating love within ourselves, for it is this love that will elevate and transform every aspect of our existence.

Just like a tree, our lives have different components that require nurturing and attention. The trunk represents our core values and beliefs, which provide stability and shape to our character. Strengthening our convictions with love allows us to stand tall, unwavering in the face of challenges and uncertainties.

The branches signify the various relationships we form throughout our lives. They branch out in different directions, representing the diverse connections we have with others. By embracing love in our interactions, we can foster a sense of unity and empathy, nourishing the connections that branch out from our hearts.

The leaves symbolize the ways in which we contribute to the world around us. Just as leaves absorb sunlight and convert it into energy, our actions and endeavors should be fueled by love. By infusing love into our pursuits, we create a ripple effect of positivity, inspiring others to do the same and contributing to a more compassionate and cohesive society.

And finally, the fruit represents the joy and fulfillment we experience when we live in alignment with love. Just as a tree bears delicious and nourishing fruit, our lives can radiate beauty and abundance when love is the guiding force behind all that we do. It is through this love that we can inspire and nurture others, creating an environment of warmth and shade in which they can also grow and flourish.

Yet, at the root of it all, lies our connection to the source - the divine presence that unifies us all. In cultivating a deep, loving connection with this source, we infuse every aspect of our being with grace and wisdom. This connection nourishes our souls, allowing love to flow through us and transform both ourselves and those around us.

So, let us embrace the wisdom of the tree and modify our lives in love. Let us water our roots with devotion and gratitude, tend to our branches with kindness, and embrace the fullness of life's abundant fruit. May our lives be a testimony to the power of love, bringing beauty and shade to those in need, and ultimately, may our love become a legacy that outlives us, inspiring generations to come.

P.S. Play, play, play and play a little more!
