🚨 Hurricane Milton Update 🚨

As Hurricane Milton approaches, the Florida region is seeing significant travel impacts. Airports across central and west Florida are experiencing closures and delays. Here's a quick rundown for those in the affected areas as of Monday, October 7th at 11:30am:

✈️ Tampa International (TPA) – The airport will suspend operations beginning Tuesday, October 8 beginning at 9:00am. They will reopen when they deem it safe to do so.

✈️ Orlando International (MCO) – Operational meetings are being held today with airport leadership and partnering agencies. No closure announcements have been made at this time.

✈️ St. Pete-Clearwater (PIE) – Operations will cease after the final flight departs on Tuesday, October 8. The airport will remain closed on Wednesday and Thursday.

✈️ Sarasota-Bradenton (SRQ) – The airport is currently fully operational. Stay in contact with your airline for updates.

✈️ Fort Myers (RSW) – The airport is currently fully operational. Stay in contact with your airline for updates.

🌧️ Stay Safe: If you're traveling, make sure to stay informed, follow local advisories, and prioritize safety. Let's weather the storm together!

It may not be the Highway in the Sky 🚄, but it could be considered the Most Magical Flight in “the World”! So what makes the Disney Skyliner special AND what are the must-know topics? 🚡

• It’s transportation + an attraction! 🎢 Not only does it connect EPCOT and Hollywood Studios to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, but it’s a fun way to take a midday park break from EPCOT or Hollywood Studios.

• It is the only way to get to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios from the Skyliner resorts 🚡 unless it is down for weather 🌧️ or technical issues ⚙️. In either case, there will be buses available 🚌.

• Occasionally, something happens at a Skyliner station that necessitates a slow down 🕒. If you are onboard during one of these moments, don’t panic! 😅 There is still a breeze, so just enjoy the views and have some fun conversation about your trip so far! ✨
