Mickey’s Philharmagic makes for a perfect spot to cool off and take a rest! This is a truly fantastic show that we have never had to wait for, so it’s a great spot to pop in when you need a break from the heat and a rest for your legs. This show never gets old for us and is a must-do; both my 4 yr old and 16 yr old love it! I feel like it’s totally underrated, so don’t miss out on this absolute gem at Magic Kingdom!

Our 2nd port of our cruise was Roatan, Honduras and we absolutely loved it! It’s hard to find something everyone will love in a family of 7 with kids spanning the ages of 4-19, but Big French Key was perfect! We were the only ship in port that day, so it felt like we had the place mostly to ourselves!

Yesterday was our first port day of 4! We bought resort day passes at Playa Mia for our Cozumel day and had a great time! I ultimately chose this resort bc it had a great pool & slide area for smaller kids in addition to all the other amenities. Unfortunately, they closed the kid’s area for maintenance the day before our arrival. I was disappointed since I would have made a different choice knowing the kid area would not be open. Despite the unexpected change, we had a great time with everything else the resort offered! We enjoyed the beach, pools, inflatable water park, water bikes, and kayaks!

With 5 kids spanning between the ages of 4-19, it can be hard to find things that please everyone. Even with the kiddie water area closed, Playa Mia still made for a great day in Cozumel for our large family!

There has been so much chatter about the changes that were coming to the DAS(Disability Access Service) at Disney. I have been so worried for both myself and my many clients who need this accommodation. I am pleased to say that I just got done with our DAS interview for Disney World with the new process and got approved for 120 days. The cast member did not even need to bring the “medical professional” on the call. I have been so worried about this for myself and my special needs clients but I was very pleased and relieved with how it went. I read of SO MANY DENIALS yesterday, but for our video chat I immediately shared how T1D impacts regular daily life for us AND how much harder it is to manage at Disney along with the reasons why.

More background about us:
My little T1D Myles Above T1D(4 yrs old) and I are annual pass holders who go to Disney World monthly. I’m not sure it would be manageable or possible for us without the DAS pass. He was diagnosed at 10 months old and we have been doing Disney World with the DAS pass since he turned 2. Pictured are just a few of the many low blood sugars suffered even with the help of the DAS pass making things more manageable. Because of our own experience, I have a passion and desire to help others with special needs plan and do Disney in a way that’s perfect for them. Don’t let anyone tell you the Disney ✨magic✨ isn’t real! We just got here yesterday afternoon and had multiple magical moments in just half a day

✨Cast member on Runaway Railway(first ride of the day) gave Myles a tiny duck which he was thrilled about and has carried around ever since.

✨Cast member operating Slinky Dog gave Myles an extra ride after seeing they wear the same medical devices.

✨The wind blew just right to be surrounded by ALL the balloons leading to the biggest smile and squeal.

✨A surprising knock on our door last night was from a cast member sending Myles a little happy surprise Mickey stuffie and gold medal. 🥹

What a great first afternoon after a tiring travel day! The magic is real y’all and these special little moments are part of why we come to Disney over and over! 🤩

Every month as we head to Disney World, my little one watches The Sword in the Stone in hopes he will learn something new that will help him pull out the sword at Magic Kingdom. He did his prep work on the plane ride today and now we are here at WDW for the week! Wish my little buddy luck with that sword. This is how we ended our trip a few weeks ago: ✨Check out out of Pop Century Resort 🫧Leave our luggage with bell services✨Take the skyliner to Hollywood Studios🫧Got a DAS pass return time for Slinky Dog✨Waited in line to meet Woody & Jessie🫧Gave them the absolute longest hugs ever✨Mobile ordered lunch via app🫧Slinky Dog Dash 1 last time & record that smiling, happy face!✨Grab our mobile food order and eat. 🫧Skyliner back to Pop to get our things✨Uber to the airport
