Check out a few pictures from my stay at the Grand Californian Hotel….

A few fun facts- the hotel is connected to Downtown Disneyland AND California Adventure park, which makes it getting to either of those locations very convenient. Poolside, like other Disney resorts they have life vests available for use. The design and decor reminded me of WDW’s Wilderness Lodge but the vibe and service felt like The Grand Floridian. Napa Rose offers a princess dining experience for breakfast.

Oh, It’s a Jolly Holiday with you Bert….
What a sight! Did you know the horse Bert is riding is named Jingles? This horse, which is a special carousel horse on King Arthur’s Carousel, was dedicated to Julie Andrews on April 8, 2008 at Disneyland Park by Disney Management including Marty Sklar. Jingles, the lead carousel horse, commemorates Andrews’ service as a theme park ambassador during the 50th anniversary. Also it’s in recognition of her 44 years of contributions to the Disney company.

If not, you may want to consider adding this dining experience to your itinerary for your next trip. Since this restaurant is located at the Contemporary Resort, not a park - no ticket is needed. This can be a great way to add magic to a non park day!
