Alternative Perspectives In these tough economic times, you need an edge. I can assist workers in learning and applying new strategies to engage challenging families.

Maybe you’re an agency with projects and not enough staff to even start them much less finish them, or an individual who needs coahing will help you meet those goals. After years, (more than I want to say), of experience in the Human Service field, specifically child welfare, I still have a passion to help children and families by supporting, and training them or those who serve these populations.

I still appreciate the challenge of helping families resolve issues and reunite with their children by facilitating family engagement meetings to mediate the issues. I still enjoy training and supporting foster and or adoptive parents to dealing with the most challenging children. I can also help agencies step back and look at the issues they face in dealing with difficult families in tuff economic times. I also think I have something unique to offer in how to maintain moral and retention while insisting on quality service. I was certified as a Bridges out of Poverty trainer in 2008 and have incorporated that information into family engagement strategies. Consultation & Training services available
