Next for our Meet The B-Line series, we had a drink at one of the newest stops on the Line - Jerry's Jug House Jerry's has been a neighborhood favorite in Newport, Kentucky since 1933. It gets the name Jug House from back in the '30s when customers could buy beer, liquor, and wine to go in jugs.

DYK makes the best Absinthe in the WORLD!? They are the first North American distillery to win double gold at the San Francisco World Spirits competition for absinthe and the only one in the world to win Platinum!

You can read their amazing and entertaining story at the link in our bio. I especially love the fact that when they first won Double Gold the European distillers insisted on putting the Neeley's absinthe through a lab test to prove it did not come from Europe. The lab test showed clear indicators of corn and cane sugar at the base which proved their base is made of moonshine -- the only absinthe made that way.

For example, we started with the bitterballen appetizer - breaded and fried slow cooked beef that is out of this world tasty!
