Today we stop to visit the Temple of Luxor. Two twin obelisks once guarded the entrance of the ceremonial gateways. One still stands in Luxor while the other guards the Place de la Concorde in Paris. Walk past the towers to see the two enormous statues of Ramses II. Don't miss the temple at sunset when it is at its best...filled with the golden rays of the setting sun.
