My Story
Hello there, and welcome to my photography page! I’m Phrené (pronounced fre•nay, it’s okay everyone asks), owner of Studio Phrené. I specialize in lifestyle, newborn, and children's photography, basically I describe my job as taking the every day crazy that is being a wife, mom, and woman and turning it into beautiful artwork that you will love, cherish, and hopefully want to hang on your wall. My husband is a firefighter in Battle Creek, I’m grateful to say he’s my best friend and support. We just rounded a decade of marriage (I know that sounds crazy to me too) and have two beautiful babies that I nicknamed S***k and Sass. After more than ten years both shooting and teaching in the industry, motherhood is where I find my strongest inspiration and passion. I believe there is beauty in each celebration and stage of life, especially in those perfectly imperfect moments of real life and motherhood. Let’s connect and be friends!
