River Plate Anglers River Plate Anglers has been a pioneer in Amazon Peacock Bass fishing since 1992 All Inclusive Fishing Trips at the Wild & Exotic Amazon River!

River Plate Anglers has been a pioneer in Peacock Bass fishing since 1992. Over the years, our company has continuously evolved in order to provide our guests with the most exclusive (privately leased) productive fisheries combined with unprecedented levels of services, facilities, comfort and safety.

= Why are exclusive (privately leased) preserves so crucial for Peacock Bass fishing? =
Since 20

02, the Brazilian authorities have granted River Plate exclusive fishing entry permits in over 12 Indian Reservations and Government Preserves, in exchange for humanitarian financial commitments. Thanks to these permits our guests don’t waste time in marginal over-fished waters, due to the high fishing pressure from commercial, survival and sport-fishing as it happens with river areas which are open-to-the-public.

= Fly-In Floating Cabins =
The infrastructural aspect that distinguishes our Peacock Bass fishing trips is our truly unique and highly mobile, deluxe, air conditioned Fly-In Floating Cabins, introduced in 1996. Due to the roaring success of this lodging concept, we have added five similar, independent cabin facilities! Drawing only four inches of water, our Fly-In Floating Cabins enable our guests to move on a daily basis to un-fished river segments in air-conditioned comfort and style throughout our exclusive (privately leased) fishing grounds. Our highly mobile, shallow-drafting Fly-In Floating Cabins overcome shallow-water barriers such as sand bars which block the passage of all other forms of navigation. We take our intimate 8 – 12 guest parties from Manaus directly to our comfortable Fly-In Floating Cabins in charter planes to nearby landing strips. Our guests wake up every morning in their Fly-In Floating Cabin, along a Caribbean-like white-sand beach, next to a remote, virgin lagoon in the heart of the savagely beautiful Amazon rainforest.

Week 8 and 9: we moved camp north to the Matupiri Reserve in search of fresher waters. First week started slow with water a couple of feet too high but receding at a fast rate and improving considerably in the last days. Second week was fabulous, with amazing quality fish in the big teens and the season's first 20 pounder.

Week 8: 477 Peacocks
Week 9: 736 Peacocks

Why choose us?
Our unique mobility allows us to fish in areas above natural barriers: shallow waters, sandbars and rapids, which prevent the passage of sport fishing yachts and commercial fishing boats. There are no crowded waters.
