Fresh Picked Cacao, this is how the fruit looks inside when the thick Pod is open. Its very fleshy and juicy leaving a seed which is then parched in the sun for days or parched in the fire, then you break the parched seed open and therein lies the diamond which we process to get our chocolate, yummy!! At Wabi Sabi Eco Retreat we sometimes take our guest on a hike to the trees near the river and just hang out eating the fresh Cacao fruit.
