The Helsinki-Toronto flight was loaded with 400 passengers and only 200 lunches. The airline made a mistake and the crew was in a difficult situation. However, an intelligent flight attendant has come up with an idea. About 30 minutes after take-off, she announced:
"Ladies and gentlemen, I don't know how this happened, but we have 400 passengers on board and only 200 lunches!" “Anyone who is kind enough to give up food for someone else will receive a free unlimited amount of wine throughout the flight.”
Her next announcement was made 6 hours later: "Ladies and Gentlemen, if anyone wants to change their mind, we still have 200 lunches available!" "
Moral of the story: wine drinkers have a very big and kind soul!😊

“Every time I travel, I always bring a piece of America with me to assure that I have a good breakfast of eggs, sausage, pate, & cheese for at least 2 weeks. My suitcase has 40lbs of food and 10 lbs of clothes.”

We spent the day exploring Évora —-the capital of Portugal's south-central Alentejo region and a UNESCO world heritage site. Visiting the city's historic sites included the ancient Roman Temple of Évora (also called the Temple of Diana). Looks a little like a Greek temple, right? 😎Nearby, the whitewashed houses surround the Cathedral of Évora, a huge Gothic structure begun in the 12th century. São Francisco, another beautiful cathedral, also features Gothic and baroque architecture along with the skeleton-adorned Chapel of Bones…. #evora #Portugal2024 #templeofDiana #chapelofbones

If you’re enthusiastic about traveling either for the first time or the umpteenth time and are interested in joining a small group of women traveling together, we’d love to host you.

Are you a first time traveler and ready to get your feet wet without the intimidation of planning the travel yourself?

Do you want to make new travel friends and have custom travel experiences?

Do you enjoy traveling independently but are open to small group travel to experience custom activities and local immersion you might not otherwise have an opportunity to seek out and enjoy?
