Great review for Villa Stein in Cabo San Lucas
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Stein in Cabo San Lucas, with three other couples, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. This was our first time renting a villa instead of staying at a resort, and it couldn't have been more perfect. From the moment we booked until the time we left, the service we received was exceptional. Caroline, Ishmal, and Patty went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless, and their communication and customer service were impeccable. Villa Stein itself is stunning, with breathtaking views and luxurious amenities that made our stay truly unforgettable. If you're considering a villa in Cabo, I highly recommend booking Villa Stein or another property managed by Caroline. You won't regret it! What a memorable stay in our favorite place!

Our group of 4 opted to stay at the Villa Stein for our first ever trip to Cabo and we're thrilled we did. I was charged with coordinating the trip for our group and Caroline's correspondence over the weeks leading up to the actual trip was extremely helpful. She would always reply very promptly to any questions we had, and we had plenty. We took advantage of getting groceries, including snorkel gear, pre-stocked for us and I'd highly recommend doing so. It allowed us to arrive and begin the vacation seamlessly. Caroline helped with airport transport, with hiring a mobile Covid testing lab that came to our villa upon arrival to meet the new travel restrictions and was generally on top of everything we needed.

Upon arrival at the villa we were greeted with margaritas by Ismael, the house caretaker/bartender/chef and all-around great guy. He's at the Villa as much or as little as needed, but has his own quarters that are out of the way on a separate level and was never an inconvenience. He makes the best margaritas ever. The pineapple, banana, strawberry and our favorite, tamarind, margaritas were an amazing addition to the trip.

The Villa consists of a main living area that opens up to the pool/spa and 3 different casitas spread out over different levels accessible by stairs. (Side note: There are a lot of stairs, so if you have mobility issues this may be a problem).
The view from the villa is stunning. We were literally watching whales splashing around 500 yards below us as we sipped our morning coffee. I was originally nervous that staying on the back side of Pedregal was too far away from the action, but in reality the view is a lot nicer than the Pedregal villas overlooking the marina. The Waldorf Astoria is directly below the property if that tells you anything. Ismael and the maid, Martha, made us breakfast and coffee every morning we were there and we were treated like royalty.
The property had great linens, the bed in the master was very comfortable, water pressure was fantastic, etc. and we even had the mobile spa come and set up massage tables one day overlooking the ocean.

Cab rides to the downtown/Marina area are $20 each way. This was the only minor inconvenience and people who visit should take note of the property's location as Pedregal is not an easy community to navigate and none of the taxis have GPS. We were lost a couple of times and this can be an issue when you've had several margaritas. Overall, it was an amazing vacation and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time we visit Cabo.
