Just booked! I'm so excited to be sailing on the US inaugural sailing of Princess Cruises' new Star Princess in November 7-10, 2025. And you can come, too! This sailing is open to the public, and prices are really reasonable. My cabin is a balcony, including the Princess Plus add-on (drinks, wifi, and gratuties), for just over $700 per person (based on double occupancy) including taxes and fees. What a great deal!

Star Princess will launch in fall 2025 and will be a sister ship to Sun Princess, pictured below. Let me know if you'd like to join me for one of the first sailings on this revolutionary new ship! I'm super excited to try out Princess' Medallion technology, which makes all of your onboard activities so much easier.

My excursion yesterday was the , and it was so much fun that I forgot to post pictures until today! 😂 This great tour takes you to the other side of the island, away from the busy side of Cozumel that's popular with tourists. I can't recommend this cruise highly enough! I think this was my fifth time doing the Hop.

The Royal Promenade is a distinguishing feature of Royal Caribbean ships, and Mariner has a great one! Among other services and shops, it has The Bamboo Tree oom (tiki bar), the Barnacle and Barrel pub, and the Playmakers sports bar. Most of Royal's ships have this feature, although the Promenade looks different on larger classes of ship.

Welcome to my cabin on Mariner of the Seas! I mostly get inside cabins, so this balcony is a nice luxury. The public areas of the ship were refurbished a few years ago, but they haven't made many changes to the cabins. So the decor is a little dated, but it's comfortable and there's plenty of drawers and cabinet space.

I'm seeing great deals this summer on Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas out of Cape Liberty in Bayonne, NJ. I love these cruises because you get a great view of the NY skyline for sail away! These cruises stop for a full day at Royal's private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, and also stop in the afternoon/early evening at Port Canaveral and Nassau.

Itineraries from NJ give you three full days to explore the ship, and Symphony is a great ship for that. There are tons of things to do, including my second-favorite shipboard musical, Hairspray! (Sorry, Mamma Mia will always be my #1.)

These sailings run early May through October, so let me know if there's a week you're interested in and I can get you some pricing!

I've been dreaming of a British Isles cruise for ages, and if I didn't have a scheduling conflict, I'd absolutely be hopping on this one: I just booked a couple on Regal Princess, August 13, 2025 from Southampton. This is a 12-night cruise with stops all around England, Scotland, and Ireland, and the price of $6400 for two people in a balcony cabin includes the Princess Plus package - that's drinks, wifi, and gratuities, along with some other perks. I booked this cruise on Allure say goodbye to some of my favorite areas on the ship, which are scheduled to be removed when the ship is amplified (refurbished) in the spring. I'll miss Sabor, the Champagne and Martini bar, and the best Diamond Lounge in the fleet - tops on my list for my working cruise vacations.

But hey, change isn't all bad - I'll be back on Allure on June 1 and am excited to see the new additions, plus to take my first Oasis-class cruise around the Med. Stay tuned!

I really love cruising because it brings back so many great memories. Allan and I did our first transatlantic cruise on this ship for our honeymoon in 2015. In fact, I've had some of my favorite cruises with some of my favorite people on this ship. ❤️
