Growing up, Bo Jackson was my all time hero and when I learned that The Graduate hotel was building just off of Auburn campus I was excited to see the out come! There is a whole wall dedicated to Bo. I have followed for a while and their design across all hotels is something to see…tremendous…even if you aren’t a fan of the school associated with it 😉. Next time you are around campus, step in and check it out!

It’s always a great day when I get to photograph Emma! She makes my job super easy and today was no different. It’s crazy to think I’ve been photographing her since she was about 4 and I am so thankful for this family!

I’m so excited for Sam! A couple of years back he decided to go to umpire school and began chronicling his experience through a blog. Well, he has now turned that blog into a book so that he could share his unique experience. He reached out about doing pictures for the cover and immediately said yes and that I wanted to support him in telling his story. With every senior I photograph, I take little pieces of the emotion that both the senior and parents feel trying to prepare myself for that time. I watch as graduations happen and try to invision how Meg and I will handle it. But in each session and now this song, I look at the current days and knowing each is a treasure and we have very little time to enjoy with them. Whew!

You know, the one thing I love about what I do is that the locations are so vastly different. One day I could be in a dance studio with Dance, at a track with , at a house going on the market with or in the green screen studio recording a show with . You never know!

Capturing Eli’s journey, merging his scouting achievement with the serene backdrop of Camp FGL, was truly an honor. As he proudly attained the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout just before our session, I couldn’t help but feel privileged to document this pivotal moment. I’m eager to witness Eli’s future accomplishments and the path he forges ahead.

When the winter weather has you feeling blah, a punch of color can have you longing for warmer weather! Thayer’s outfit that she wore for her senior session was perfect for bringing a little bit of excitement to the party!

I was sitting at the desk and looking back through old blog archives and it got me. As I passed each entry, I relived each shoot; remembering the actual moment and space that I took each image. Each with an emotion attached…on both sides of the camera. Emotions from weddings, to seniors, headshots, families, styled shoots and personal posts about our family. Each filled with hopes and dreams of what’s ahead.

Almost half a life’s work on these pages and what a journey it has been. Thank you to each and every client I’ve had over the many years. You have given me great memories.
