as exposed to the arts at a very young age. It wasn’t until the tragic death of her father in a 2011 tornado, that Leslie tried her hand at creating art herself. With the help of her friend, Dusty Reynolds, she learned how to use mixed media to turn tragedy into hope and healing through the art process. What started out as therapy, quickly turned into a passion, and she has been hard at work in her studio ever since, drawing inspiration from her family and music. Wanting to honor her father’s legacy and pay homage to his business, LB International, she named her business LB Designs
after the nickname “LB” he gave her - short for Leslie Brooke, her full name. Leslie credits her husband, Patrick, for his continued support and encouragement to work on her passion each day. Leslie and Patrick now reside in Jackson, MS, with her daughter Frances, and his three children Alexis, Eli and Owen. Her art is available at The Farmhouse in Tupelo, MS, and at Interior Spaces and Glo Design Studio, both located in Jackson, MS.
