My family moved to southern California and we went to Disneyland. It was magical! We went as many times as we could during the 3 years we lived there, and I have been back a couple times since. I then went to Disney World with my high school band when I was a junior. I was amazed at how big it was! I went home and told my parents how incomparable Disney World is to Disneyland and that they had to

go. 2 years later they went and brought me along. They were instantly hooked. I introduced Disney World to my husband in 2005, and of course, he loved it as well (good thing!) and we introduced Disney World to our daughters when they were 2 years and 9 months old. We have gone back at least once every year since then. I introduces my family to Disneyland for the first time last year. It had changed so much in 20 years! The 2 parks at Disneyland have more rides in them than Disney World's 4 parks? Each ark has their own unique qualities and I don't think I can pick a favorite! Disney is such a big part of our life and while I always dreamed of working at Disney World, living 17 hours away makes it difficult so I decided to do the next best thing. I am a travel agent with Castle Chat Travel and specialize in Disney destinations. People often wonder how I get paid, since I don't charge fees. After my clients check out of their Disney resort, Disney pays ME for helping to make their Disney dreams come true! I feel like I have the best job ever! What an amazing, fun filled, magical trip to Disney World planned by a phenomenal travel agent! Shannon is very educated in the whole Disney process. She offered advice and help along every step of the journey from meal reservations and fast passes to advice as we were walking through the parks. A little background: about 1 1/2 years ago I had my 4th brain injury. Planning anything is a real chore for me! I haven’t posted much in here so I thought I would reintroduce myself. I am Shannon Nolan but can be found on fb as Shannon Harmon Nolan. I’ve been a travel agent for 9 years now. I specialize in Disney Destinations and Universal. Disney destinations include Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani in Hawaii and Adventures by Disney. I have been to Disneyland and Disney World countless times and I’ve been on 3 Disney cruises. I have also been to Universal Hollywood and Universal Orlando several times.
So why use me as your travel agent? I am knowledgeable about Disney and Universal. Based on my training and my first hand experience, I can be your expert. You can ask me anything, once I book your vacation. I will first help you find a resort that will be the best fit for your travel party and then help guide you in selecting restaurants, rides, etc. When promos are released, I try to apply the promos to your reservation to save you money.

Looking to go to Disney World or Universal? Would you like a free quote? I would be happy to help! If you’re looking to contact me for a free quote for any Disney destination or Universal, feel free to send me a message! I will need to know travel dates, as well as how many people are traveling with ages of kids. If you already know what resort you’d like to stay at, great! If not, we can find the right one for you.
What comes next? Of course some people get the quote and realize it’s not in their budget to go right now and choose not to book. And that’s fine! You’re not obligated to book if I send you quotes. If you do decide to book, however, I ask that you allow me to book it for you. After I do your booking, I am your point of contact. I am like your personal expert. You can ask me any and all questions you have! These vacations aren’t cheap, and they can be confusing so let me lead you in the right direction!
Some questions I get often:
Do you charge fees?
No, I never charge a fee. You will pay the same whether you allow me to book your vacation as you would if you booked yourself through Disney.

How do you get paid:
Disney pays me commission after you travel. So I only get paid for vacations that I book. When a person books on their own through Disney, Disney will keep the commission they’d otherwise give to me.

Do you book fast passes:
Fast passes are no longer a thing, so no. I will explain genie+ though. I cannot book Genie+ for you, though, as that needs purchased day of your vacation through the app.

Do you book dining?
No. There are several reasons for this, which I won’t list here. I will advise on restaurants and answer all restaurant related questions. I can also guide how to book reservations on the app or website.

While it is not the dining plan that most of you are waiting for… there is a new offer that will allow you to get some free food at Disney World! If you would like to travel to Disney World this summer, between June 25 and Sept 14, you could get a dining card that can be used to dine at most restaurants on Disney property. Update: I am not ready to book yet. Doctors orders are to take off for 4 weeks but since I work from home I am hoping to be able to start new bookings sooner than that. I did have surgery and I am still in pain so I need to take some time to rest and recover. Thank you for understanding!
