Today is a very special feast day -- Our Lady of Sorrows. <3 May she be with us in the moments of sorrow, pain and suffering. Those who promote, honor our Lady and meditate on her #7sorrows will gain her promises.
1) “I will grant peace to their families.”
2) “They will be enlightened about the divine Mysteries.”
3) “I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them
in their work.”
4) “I will give them as much as they ask for as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of My divine Son or the sanctification
of their souls.”
5) “I will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives.”
6) “I will visibly help them at the moment of their death — they will see the face of their Mother.”
7) “I have obtained this grace from My divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to My tears and sorrows will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness, since all their sins will be forgiven and My Son will be their eternal consolation and joy.”
Today, we celebrate the 30th Birthday of Blessed Carlos Acutis! He lived a life dedicated to God at such a young age. He passed away at the age of 15. Carlos had such a great devotion to the Eucharist that he asked his parents to take him to pilgrimages to the sites of ALL the known Eucharistic miracles of the world. Would you do the same? <3
Here are some fun interesting facts about his life:
✝️ After his first Holy Communion, he never missed his time receiving Jesus at daily Mass, Adoration and his Rosary.
✝️ Carlos loved technology! He was a computer programmer and gamer! He wanted to utilize technology and his website to evangelize.
✝️ "I offer all the suffer I will have to suffer for the Lord, the Pope and the Church." He contracted leukemia as a teenager and offered up his suffering.
Prayer:
Blessed Carlos Acutis, we ask your intercession to develop the same heart that loves God and our neighbor like you. Assist us in developing a heart for the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and for pilgrimages in growing our Catholic Faith like you. Help us always desire holy things of this world and also stay close to our Lady like you. Help us to fight temptations and the enemy especially in our world and age. Please pray for all of the youth in our world that we will have much zeal to evangelize like you and use our talents the way that God wants us to. Amen.

Happy Feast Day of St. Gianna Molla! <3 Gianna went on a pilgrimage and asked God what her vocation might be, either a life of service as a lay missionary in Brazil or a life married to her husband, Pietro. By God's grace, when she came back from the pilgrimage, and saw Pietro with flowers. She saw it as God's sign that she was to be married.
In making important decisions in life, people often forget about the Lord and asking for His guidance. St. Gianna gives wise teaching on this matter when she writes, “What is a vocation?” and she responds, “It is a gift from God. It is up to us to do all in our power to know God’s will. We must go along the way God wills it, not forcing the door; when God wills it, how God wills it.”
Entrusting major decisions to God especially on pilgrimages is important. Consider joining us on a pilgrimage this summer or fall! www.amicabantravel.com/pilgrimages

Vocation Story: Don's Call to Carmel
One of our pilgrims, Donald recently passed away. <3 After attending one of our pilgrimages to Spain in 2004, he felt the call to the Carmelite vocation after visiting sites connected to St. Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross. He was a Professed 3rd Order Discalced Secular in Port Tobacco. We lift up his soul in prayer.
Here is one of the prayers of St. Teresa of Avila, who was the founder of the Discalced Carmelite Order.
"Let nothing disturb you;
Let nothing frighten you,
All things pass away.
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things.
He who has God,
finds he lacks nothing.
God alone suffices."
Eternal rest grant unto Don, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace. Amen. <3

<3 Happy First Friday in the Month of December! <3 Today, we honor the #SacredHeart. Join us in going to #FirstFridayMass today!! Jesus said to St. Margaret Mary in an Apparition in Paray Le Monial, France:
“I promise you, in the excessive mercy of my Heart that my all powerful love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion on the first Friday for nine consecutive months, the grace of final repentance; they shall not die in my disgrace nor without receiving the sacraments; my divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in that last moment.”
