Days 10-12 of our Europen Adventure included 3 ports in Spain. In Cartagena we took a tour of the Spanish Civil War Museum, the Roman Forum and the Roman theater. This tour was great for history buff but the 2 littles were a but bored and we ended up splitting up our group so the littles could go back and enjoy free time on the ship. Palma (Mallorca) has a beautiful cathedral called Catedral-Basillica de Santa Maria de Mallorca. You need to purchase tickets to go inside but it was worth it! The kids really enjoyed seeing the relics inside. After the cathedral they walked around town and explored, purchasing a few souvenirs to take home. Barcelona has so much to offer that it’s hard to choose what to do in one day. We opted for La Segrada de Familia which was absolutely stunning. You do need purchase tickets in advance as they will sell out. Day 9! Gibraltar!! We explored St Michael’s Cave and then headed to the Top of the Rock where we saw the monkeys. This was much kids favorite spot. They just LOVED the monkeys. (But be careful—they may bite!). . . . #sunprincess #gibraltar #travel #wishdreamtravel

7 and 8 of our European Adventure featured 2 sea days. Princess had a lot of fun activities to keep the whole family entertained! Days 5 and 6 of our European Adventure: Day 5: celebrated the Birthday boy! Started the morning opening presents then headed on a small group, tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and Saint Peter’s Basilica. We had a quick lunch and then followed it with a golf cart tour or Rome. Back to Pizza in Trevi for dinner! Day 6: We woke up early and head to the Spanish Steps. We watched them collect the donations from the Trevi Fountain, and made sure to get our fill of gluten free gelato for lunch. Day 4 of our European Adventure had us departing the JW Marriott for Rome. We rode the train which was very exciting for the kids. They had many gluten free snack options for the kids and even produced an ingredient binder upon request. When we arrived in Rome we dropped our things off at Hotel Dei Borgognoni and ventured off to Pizza in Trevi for dinner. They were extremely allergy aware and made some of the most delicious gluten free Italian food I have ever tasted. Took the train to Cognac for a quick overnight. We took a tour of Martell House and then to Chateau de Cognac for a VIP historical tour of Baron Otard and D’Ussè with cognac tastings at each.
