What happens when the country’s best design school and a bike shop mix? Some cool shizz! came to us a couple of months ago and asked what type of tool we could use in our bike shop, but doesn’t currently exist. From there came the prototypes, and yesterday, we got to see the final product. This tool will be a huge help for projects that require a lot of torque in a small or awkward area. And it’s one-of-kind! Thank you, Luke, for this awesome product and this amazing opportunity!

Ride a bike this on February 11th and save a life! (Can’t ride? Sign up anyway and your registration fee becomes a 100% donation to our senior dog program!) It’s that time of year again where you can make a difference! Savannah On Wheels will be hosting the second annual Last Stop Loved Cupid Ride on Saturday, February 11, 2023, benefitting Georgia Rescue, Rehabilitation, & Relocation and their senior dog program. This program finds forever foster homes and provides medical care for medically challenged senior dogs who have been abandoned or lost their owners due to death or medical reasons. The name “Last Stop Loved” represents a final place where these senior dogs can find incredible love and caring as they spend their last days on earth. Money from this event will directly benefit GRRR's efforts to care for these canine babies.

The Last Stop Loved Cupid Ride is a cupid-themed, family-friendly, police-escorted 5-mile bicycle ride through Savannah's Historic District to raise money and awareness for GRRR. Bike rentals are available from Savannah On Wheels for use during the ride, and there will also be an on-site raffle for a bike and other prizes, which participants can enter to win, as well as a food truck and live music.

The ride begins and ends at Savannah On Wheels, located at 405 West Hall Street (free parking is available on our street and the surrounding streets). On-site registration will begin at 11:00 AM and the ride starts at 12:00 PM. Total length of ride is expected to take about an hour.

All proceeds benefit .rescue.rehab.relocate (GRRR) and the amazing work they do in Savannah and the surrounding counties. Your participation directly impacts GRRR and their efforts to continue to help senior dogs and find loving homes for the animals they rescue. No bike? No problem!
