Please don't blame any Politicans for this, we were planning this a while.. Ok, maybe blame that Vladamir guy in that brick fort by the Moscow River, we're Ok with that..He's kinda creepy anyhow..
Effective as of this publishing, The Vonnegut House is raising it's Summer Daily Rate to $945. in keeping with tradition, we will offer a volume discount of a few hundred dolalrs for a 7 day booking or more of $200, therefore $6615 will now be $6415 for day 7 and return to the normal rate for day 8 and beyond, subject to any agreement that can be arranged with the House Manager Carolyn Neubaur.
For years the VH has operated at pretty much a loss, and we want to be able to give people a great experince without breaking the bank for their family vacation, but the house needs love and has a lot of unexpected costs and debts to repay, like a douzie bill that came to hook The East Shore up to town waste water services during the epdemic, it had to be done but it hurt, or a large increase in our taxes. The only person we don't want to notice our charming improvements in the County Tax Assesor!!
As our goal is to keep you happy, please talk to us about anything you need along these lines, we are happy to consider any and all offers..we are in the business of business.
All deals already made are unaffected,.Call it an early bird special, and all other rates stay the same subject to future announcement here and on our web page.
Now maybe we can afford another ping pong table aorund here so that the kids will stop asking about it!!
