Our Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page to learn about me, my company and what I do. Formerly a 17+ year Executive Assistant, Lina DiCola is now a travel professional for Cruise Planners who specializes in cruises, Disney & Universal parks, land tours, all Inclusive resorts and of course adventure. Sailing the high seas and cruising up rivers via kayaking; hiking up mountains in Hawaii, snorkeling; and, yes, being pampered are among her favorite things to do. In her fourteen years of business she has achieved numerous accolades including: Elite Cruise Counselor with CLIA (Cruise Line International Association), graduated from the Disney College of Knowledge, Rock Star within Cruise Planners, and has obtained many Specialist /Expert ratings including Sandals Specialist and Viking River Cruise Specialist. Lina says “You never can have too much knowledge and it is important to keep up with all the many changes in the industry”. As a Land and Cruise Specialist, I work hard to build a good relationship with my valued clients. I listen so that I can learn their likes and dislikes and match their travel needs to their individual personality and budget. Here are the some mistakes you can avoid by using a Cruise Specialist: Lack of product knowledge leading to an inappropriate cruise choice (wrong destination, wrong cruise line, etc…): I am constantly educating myself with continuing education (product and destination seminars, trade shows, and cruises), customer feedback and familiarization with the destinations I sell. Calling the cruise line directly and receiving biased information: I work for you and have your best interest in mind. I do not work for a specific cruise line or other travel related companies. Unlike the cruise lines that only want you to sail on their ships, I will consider all cruise lines on your behalf and look for the best price and itinerary for you. Not getting the best rates and amenities: Because I am the professional, I receive faxes, emails and phone calls daily from cruise lines hotels, car rentals, etc. I have excellent relationships with all the cruise lines, resorts, tour companies, airlines, etc. This enables me to obtain the most current promotions to pass on to you. I am able to analyze all this information to know best what you, my client needs. Don’t forget, time is money and this wonderful service is free to you: Calling the cruise line is not going to give you a better price. I will get you the same price or better AND provide the service you deserve! Honest! Not having a clear understanding of all the penalties, restrictions and pricing involved, leading once again to not getting the best rates and amenities and in some cases, steep penalties: As a knowledgeable Cruise Specialist, I understand the rules and policies of the industry.
