Another successful day, fishing for Silver Salmon on the Ninilchik River!

Here’s one of our favorite mornings on the Anchor River last June.

This was taken on August 4th of last year across Kachemak Bay at Humpy Creek! We love taking our guests there from about the middle of July through the first few days of August, where they have a fishing adventure like none other!

Now that it’s already February, I’m getting a good number of folks wanting to fish with us this summer. Now is a good time to schedule a trip with us, and I will be showing you these fish teasers from last summer, to help wet your appetite! This video was on the Ninilchik River, fishing for King Salmon in June.

When our local rivers are closed and frozen over...

Throwback to the last day of August, and the last day of using bait on our local rivers! Never giving up, little Sandy finally hooked into a large Silver Salmon, using herring! I thought she might get pulled into the river, or loose the rod out of her hand!

Exactly one month ago, Stephanie was having a nice battle with a large Silver Salmon!

This fish ended up being a 10.5 pound Silver Salmon, which is our biggest Silver so far this season!
