Always check in 24 hours before your flight! Even if you are checking bags. I got a call from a young man today - Delta cancelled his 900 am to Atlanta and he wasn't notified because he didn't check in. (Most airlines alert the travel agent - Delta not so...) He didn't know this until he got to the airport and found himself on the 1p (Every plane on every carrier is jammed.)

I was able to sneak a seat on the 10A but now he is in a long line because he can't get his BP at the kiosk. Had he gotten a BP ahead of time for the 9A he could now be through security and on his way to the gate for the 10a.
