On Thursday, we're visiting the studio of Ehren Kee Natay! Ehren is a multidisciplinary artist, musician, and performer whose recent work is focused on researching his grandfather, Ed Lee Natay, who was the first Native American musician to record traditional music for commercial release.

Our Story

At Santa Fe Art Tours, we've reenergized the museum and gallery-going experience with tours that invite you to look at art in a new way while whisking you through Santa Fe's charming neighborhoods, hidden courtyards, off-the-beaten path art venues, and landmark museums and galleries. Each of our walking tours covers a different arts district in Santa Fe and highlights a unique theme or focus.

We pride ourselves on creating unique, personal, interactive, and memorable experiences with art. After taking a tour with us, people often remark, “I feel like you’re my new best friend!” and “I enjoyed learning new techniques for looking at art.” We LOVE doing exactly that – encouraging you to look, laugh, share, and connect while discovering Santa Fe through its fascinating art scene.

It all started in 2015, when founder Elaine Ritchel found herself back in New Mexico after living in Croatia for several years. Elaine found that no one was providing regular tours of Santa Fe’s arts venues, so she tapped into her background as an art museum educator and developed interactive walking tours of Santa Fe’s art scene that encourage participants to look at art in a new way.

Now, Elaine works with several other guides who each bring their own expertise and enthusiasm to Santa Fe Art Tours.
