Day 2 for the Iowa boys! Glass calm conditions made it even harder than day one. Despite that they were still able to put a solid bag into the boat. I have an opening for night trips on 3/27 and 3/28. 7pm-Midnight, $400, four person max. Fishing this spring has been great with trips of 40+ fish a night common. Shoot me a message or give me a call if you are interested!

First photo from the 2022 guide season for me. We were inundated with piles of bluebills that bombed in without hesitation all morning long. It made for a great show and non stop action.

Quick little walk in the afternoon yielded a nice pair of pheasants! Huck and I both love chasing these birds on public land.

Duck Plumage and Pinfeather Class !

Saturday Oct 1st, 11am to 4pm OPEN DOOR

Bring your fresh shot Southern Zone ducks by the shop during that time frame and Jeff will be teaching you all about pin feathers, duck taxidermy desirable features, plumage facts, and more! Come with your entire bag from your hunt. We will use your fresh birds to teach you!

When we are done with your short class, we will have a bird cleaning station set up with zip locks for your meat to take home! Trash cans for the carcasses!

You don't need to mount anything! This is just for knowledge, fun and comradery! Maybe a little bragging?

We will have coffee and high fives ready to serve!

Totally Free, open to anyone! As you arrive, if were giving a class, walk on up, we will circle back to your birds too!
