The Parke County Guide is Published every Fall, starting in November 2022, we will share information from our Guide here. I invite you to linger a spell, read about our Merchants and their wares, enjoy the colorful photographs and make plans to visit us soon. No matter what the season, Parke County has so much to offer - whether it is the fresh green of Spring, the good fishing ti

mes of Summer, the coziness of Fall or the beautiful pristine white of Winter, you will find so much to see and do in this "neck of the woods"! Whatever the Season, you will want to not only check out our numerous covered bridges that we are known for, but also enjoy events like the popular Spring Maple Syrup Fair. In the Summer you can enjoy Rockville's funky and chic Brick Street Market that offers fun and unique finds or come to Indiana's largest festival, The Parke County Covered Bridge Festival in the Fall. Visit us when the snow flies and experience Hometown Holiday celebrations throughout Parke County. We want to make sure you make the most of your visit to Parke County, whether it's in the Fall, Winter, Spring or Summer.

The Kemper House on the hilltop at Mansfield has been renovated as a complete home you can rent. The house itself offers sleeping for up to eight with two small new cabins each offering sleeping for two with bathrooms and there is also another new cabin large enough to sleep up to four people. The larger cabin offers a kitchen, a front room and a nice bath area. Outside the Kemper House you will find the serene background of Big Raccoon Creek, the Historic Mansfield Roller Mill and lots of space to hike, fish, swim and just get back to nature. Check out the newly renovated Kemper House and come enjoy the Mansfield festivals and the beauty and serenity this area offers any time of the year! The Tiki Hut has been fully renovated, rejuvenated, and reimagined to become a lively must-visit spot for anyone exploring Raccoon Lake and Parke County. They serve mouthwatering, hand-tossed pizzas daily, along with lake-inspired hoagies. Plus, they offer bait (bee-moths, minnows, crawlers), propane refills, firewood, donuts, Amish breads, and much more—all available every day! Delivery service is also available for added convenience. But that’s not all! This summer, the Tiki Hut owners introduced The Tiki Shack, right next door. This new restaurant offers fresh BBQ, smoked meats, and tacos along with a full bar.

Bridgeton will be hosting its annual Country Christmas celebration starting Black Friday! Join us for two big weekends: Nov. 29 – Dec. 1 and Dec. 6-8, 2024. Hours are 10-5 each day. Find something truly unique, handmade or antique in the shops of Bridgeton! The 1878 House, 1822 Log Cabin, the Old Ford Garage, Old Barn New, the Mill, and the Yellow Barn Door will be open and full of gifts.
Shop with the vendors in the 1878 Barn, Collom’s General Store, the Artisans Barn at the Mill, the Station and Ye Olde Covered Bridge Shoppe. Some Covered Bridge Festival vendors will be here and there will be new ones as well! Kids, come visit Santa in the1822 Case Log Cabin, both Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Enjoy a seasonal meal at Collom’s General Store and visit the
Bridgeton Mill for yummy baked goods and organic stone ground products. Listen to live Christmas music with Bill Robison in the 1878 Barn. Soak up a little of that small town Christmas spirit while you enjoy the lights and decorations in the historic district. By Celia Case
