Ten years ago Fithian Travel, LLC opened to the public and what a blessing you all have been!! Thank you to each and every one of you for allowing me to become your friend and create your fabulous adventures. Here is to another many more years of travel memories and friendship!!

As a side note, a huge thank you to my partner KHM Travel Group. Your unending support has helped me get to where I am today and I am forever grateful for my incredible work family.

I think alot of people misunderstand what Travel advisors do. Yes, we quote and book vacations. Yes, we make personalized itineraries and plans for you. Yes, this costs you nothing EXTRA over booking your plans on your own. We are Only paid commission on trips we book, and only after you return home from traveling. I do not charge fees. If you have questions, I m here start to finish.

Booking with a Travel advisor is a win-win!

The cost of our commission is ALREADY included in the cost you pay whether you use an agent or not! If you book direct, essentially, you are paying for a service you are not receiving. For that reason I recommend you to consider hiring an agent. That being said, please keep in mind I am not setup to advise on trips that I did not plan or book. It doesn't work from my business perspective, nor does my business insurance support advising as such. Thank you for you understanding and I hope this clears up how I work. Many people have asked how it works, and now you have it and I look forward to working with you on your next adventure!

END OF THE YEAR NOTICE:
As a travel consultant, we are paid by our preferred suppliers on a commission basis only. The only way we receive compensation for the work we provide is to book the reservations once all the planning is completed. Unfortunately, that said - the airlines do NOT pay commission to the travel consultants who help fill their planes.
As this has been noted before, as of January 1st 2024 - Fithian Travel will continue to charge service fees for AIR ONLY bookings. The fees will be minimal, but the time involved is certainly worth the cost. My services start in the planning phase and end when you return home. Having the ability for someone to take care of all the details, call with questions or concerns, monitor your travel plans - these are just a few reasons why many people use my services.
