It probably feels weird talking about water parks when most of us are wearing so many layers we can’t put our arms fully down at our sides, but it’s actually THE PERFECT TIME to have this chat.
▪First, beginning tomorrow at Walt Disney World, if you’re staying at an on-property resort, FREE admission at one of their water parks on your check-in day is included! They typically only have one water park open during the winter, but are both incredibly fun.
▪Secondly, no matter if you’re at Disney’s Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon or over at Universal’s Volcano Bay (which just won a Travvy Award for Best Water Park), the water is heated, the crowds are typically smaller which also means the lines can be shorter. Win-win-win!

A free perk is definitely hard to pass up-even when the temps are down. Will you be taking advantage of Disney’s Free Water Park Admission on check-in day this year? Or if you have your eye on Universal, will you see what all the hype is about at Volcano Bay?

There’s a lot of excitement on the horizon for 2025 at our favorite destinations that may sway your decision about where to vacation in the new year. Here are some highlights:
▪️Walt Disney World is getting a new nighttime parade and Pirates of the Caribbean themed tavern at Magic Kingdom!
▪️Disneyland is celebrating its 70th Anniversary and Walt Disney is getting his own animatronic show!
▪️Disney Cruise Line has another two ships setting sail: The Disney Adventure and Disney Destiny. That makes 8 ships!
▪️Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe opens in May and promises to be unforgettable for all ages!

I would love to get to Disneyland for the Paint the Night parade. It looks so magical!

When I say this barely scratches the surfaces of all the up and comings, it’s an understatement. So, if your interest is piqued by any of this, message me and let’s really dive deep into the research phase together!

Unpopular opinion warning...you don’t NEED to buy Lightning Lane access. Especially as a first time or first time in a long time visitor. You may not realize that on many of the attractions, you’ll bypass the amazing ride queue when you enter the Lightning Lane. That’s SUCH a shame. You miss SO MUCH. Some queues you don’t want to miss are:
▪️Avatar: Flight of Passage
▪️Toy Story Mania
▪️Peter Pan’s Flight
▪️The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
▪️Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run

A big part of what makes Disney so alluring and downright addicting, is the attention to detail. The masterful way they “surprise and delight” guests around every turn. A PRIME example of that are the ride queues. I get it though, nobody wants to wait in line TOO long. That’s where working with a travel professional comes in. There’s no better way to celebrate the creator of our favorite Marvel heroes than by spotting him in action! If you’re swinging through Universal Orlando, keep an eye out—Stan Lee makes some sneaky, epic cameos in The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man ride. From driving a truck to making a heroic rescue, he’s in there four times for you to find!

He’s also made 22 cameos in Marvel movies with his final appearance in Avengers: Endgame. Have you ever looked for Stan in the ride or in Marvel movies?

Honestly I would be sad. It's a small world during Christmas (at Disneyland) is one of my favorites!

Happy Hanukkah, friends! How cool that Christmas and Hanukkah fall on the same day this year. The last time this happened was back in 2005! So tonight begins the 8-night Festival of Lights, will you be celebrating?

Baking, wrapping, holiday cards—oh my! If you're staring down the three big holiday stressors and wondering how you'll get it all done, don’t worry—this elf has some time- saving tricks up the old sleeve!
Skip the baking and head to a local bakery or grocery store for a sleeve of Toll House. So what if your "homemade" cookies come from the pros.
Swap wrapping for gift bags! They look festive, are EASY, and come in every size imaginable. Add a little ribbon, and voilà!
Opt for sending an e-card this year. They're personal, fast, inexpensive and you can schedule them to hit inboxes while you're sipping on some cocoa. Self care is important!

No matter how early I get things done, something always feels like it's missing or I am forgetting something. It never fails!

How cute are Mickey and his pals in their chef best? The character interaction alone at Chef Mickey’s gets a...you guessed it, chef’s kiss! In addition to visiting your table, multiple times throughout your meal expect some singing and dancing, and the littles may even get to join in with their favorite Disney friends!
This is a true buffet experience, so you can spend as much or as little time here as you want. Take your time and hit that buffet multiple times and visit with the characters repeatedly, or grab a couple plates and wave to the characters as they pass by, it’s up to you!

If you aren’t rushing to a park before or after your meal, the location is prime for some resort hopping and a monorail crawl. Who doesn’t love hearing “Por Favor Manténgase Alejado de las Puertas”?! Where does Chef Mickey’s rank for your family? Is it a must do? One and done? Tell us!

Today marks the first day of what will inevitably feel like the longest winter in history to many. Also known as my birthday🥳

But you know where it always feels like summer? At the Poly! Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort just oozes that tropical, always warm yet totally chill, summertime vibe. This is the kind of Disney resort you book when you want more than just a place to sleep (for up to 5 in standard rooms). A stay here means resort time is just as much a part of your vacation as the parks. I could go on and on, but you’ll stop reading. So I’ll just mention a few of my favorite things about this Deluxe resort:

All this and more within easy access to Magic Kingdom making rope drop, midday breaks and late night transportation easy and quick. Where are those Poly fans? What’s the one thing you consider a MUST DO here?

“Do not be fooled by its commonplace appearance.” (Please read that again in the voice of Robin Williams from the beginning of Disney’s Aladdin.) In the back of the beautiful, but quiet Morocco pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase is a sangria bar! Oasis Sweets and Sips serves shareable red or white sangria, hard cider and beer along with some light snacks. But it’s more the ambiance of an open-air market with seating that grants this spot the title of hidden gem!

By the way, they also serve juice and water so for anyone not into really into drinking around the world, you can still take a rest, soak up the ambiance and get some colorful photos-it’s so beautiful back there. Did you know about this bar? And when it comes to sangria are you team RED or WHITE?

Have you seen or tried the Disneyland cookies that went viral on TikTok? The Harbour Galley at Disneyland Park serves warm, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies (and lobster rolls, tuna salad and chowders) that come in two serving sizes: a half dozen (around $7) and a bakers dozen (around $13 and the best deal). Packaged inside a paper bag, it’s really easy to grab, go and snack your way through the park or grab a waterside seat and savor the moment.

This is the best treat to share as a family or with your friends. Who doesn't love a fresh baked cookie 😋😋
