Each tour is customized to your interests and background and covers the city’s history, its rise and fall as an industrial giant, the good and the bad, its past, p

resent and future, and all of the great things that are often overlooked. The “Detroit Time Travel Tour” is a two-hour walking tour of Downtown Detroit, augmented by a slideshow of historic images and future possibilities, displayed at the corresponding locations. Detroit Time Travel Tour gives visitors an orientation and locals insight into a city that has been concealed by Today. The bad things you’ve heard? They’re often true. But the good things you haven’t heard are also true. Please visit our website to confirm your desired booking time. More about me? Well, I’ve been introducing people to Detroit for a decade. I grew up in the suburbs and moved to the city after developing an obsession with it while attending Wayne State University. There I studied Media, which lead me to work in film and music production. In addition to working on Hollywood productions, which itself involved plenty of backseat-driver tours, I worked on small scale films and videos including a documentary on the city. The character of that work carried over into my tenure as one of Detroit’s top hosts on Airbnb at "The Bumblebee House", where I have so far hosted over 100 travelers. I also help people to “live, work and engage” in Detroit as a tour guide for Detroit Experience Factory, Detroit’s welcome center. This all runs parallel to directing the music collective Zelda and the Unibrows, which I co-founded in 1997.
