Happy belated Easter ! What a way to spend your day 🧜🏼♂️⠀..⠀
"Diving down to Christ of the Abyss in the Florida Keys on Easter. A special gift from the Italians to the Americans in the early 1900’s, there’s only 3 of them on the entire Planet. 2 of which are located in Italy. Such a mysterious, yet magical experience visiting the rock and coral covered bronze statue of Christ resting in the shallows of the reef. Visiting the underwater statue of Jesus Christ on such a historic and meaningful holiday such as Easter made the trip even more surreal. Floating above the 8 foot statue as he gazes upwards with his holy hands lifted, this depiction of Christ is definitely one of the most creative. With designer Guido Galletti casting the statues in order to inspire people to visit the underwater world. Diving down gave us another beautiful perspective of the statue, as it’s magnificence is amplified by the sun shining down on his body like the heavens above. With Earth day upon us let us remember to not only be inspired by this underwater world but to also do everything in our power to protect it. Not the best clarity in the Ocean yesterday but could you imagine a better time to visit this other worldly place?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
