La Taverna provided the perfect dining experience. My family members were wondering where I was taking them….down dark twisting stairways. It was a pleasant surprise to reach a small courtyard and the entrance to the restaurant. From the second we set foot in the door, we felt welcomed. Everyone from the hostess to the servers were very attentive and accommodating.
The owner, Chef Claudio Brugallosi, visited our table. We found, it’s a small world, because his wife was from Texas (as is my family) and he was a chef when he lived in El Paso and San Antonio (where my family is from) before moving back to Perugia, where he is originally from.
It is apparent that he seeks total satisfaction from his guests. I have eaten in Michelin star restaurants, and this dining experience was definitely far superior and less pretentious.
This restaurant is deemed one of the best in Perugia and I definitely recommend reservations. It is a quality fine dining experience, but casual dress and children are welcome. While there, we saw people from all walks of life.
Chef Claudio, I hope to see you again soon!
Although I am not Catholic, I enjoyed today’s Papal Audience. It was wonderful exploring Vatican City. I organized@ a private guided tour, which truly is the best way to see it.
With attending university, I have had to limit my traveling. The last few days I have been attending the Select Group Travel Conference in Buffalo, New York. It has been a great opportunity to network with potential destinations and travel suppliers.
Beside the conference, we had orange chocolate, lots of wings, pizza, and celebrated St. Patty’s Day.
