Beginning on Saturday, Oct. 7, Southwest Airlines will begin a weekly nonstop service from Kansas City International Airport to:

🛫 Montego Bay Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica
🛫 Los Cabos Airport in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico
🛫 Expanded daily nonstop service to Cancun Airport

Effective on Saturdays beginning on Oct. 7:

Montego Bay
MCI to MBJ departs 11:35 a.m. and arrives 3:35 p.m.
MBJ to MCI departs 12:05 p.m. and arrives 4:25 p.m.

Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos, Mexico
MCI to SJD departs at 10:40 a.m. and arrives 12:10 p.m.
SJD to MCI departs 11:35 a.m. and arrives 5:25 a.m.

Cancun, Mexico daily service beginning Oct. 5:
MCI to CUN departs 10:30 a.m. and arrives 1:45 p.m.
CUN to MCI departs 1:40 p.m. and arrives 5:10 p.m.

When booking your vacation with me ...you do not pay me a fee so understand my time is of value while you attempt to make decisions! Also the following may help some of you:

🚨Keep in mind constantly asking pricing is time consuming so try to be certain you want to go and are prepared to pay the deposit.

🚨Deposits are always needed to lock in rates/inventory and sometimes full payment is due at time of the quote.

📌Prices change quickly! Don't believe you can always wait til close to dates you want to go to book. Early is always best.

🚨The questions I send need to be answered. I can't help you if you have no clue where and when you want to go somewhere.

📌Exact dates are a must.. There are too many days scenarios to give estimates for all.

📌A REALISTIC budget is a major plus! You know how much you want to spend and how much over you will go. Please don't say I don't have one then once quote is given you have one.

📌Flights are higher than in previous years. Layovers are longer, Non stop is not cheap...there are cheaper options at times

Gather ‘round friends!

If you are traveling in the near future please don’t think you can show up at the airport 45 minutes before your flight departs and make it on the plane. TSA has been backed up and people are missing their flights waiting in the security line.

THEY WILL LEAVE YOU!

So for all of my late people, plan ahead and get to the airport early because if you miss your flight the volumes have been heavy enough that sometimes you won’t be able to be rebooked for 1, 2 even 3 days out.

This is especially important for international travel but it applies for everyone.



P.S. Most airlines have an app- I suggest downloading the app for the airline you’re flying with so you will receive any notifications or updates to your flight along with any requirements that apply to your itinerary. If you don’t have the necessary forms, etc for international travel you will not be permitted to check in and again you may miss your flight trying to complete the required forms in the airport.
