Before coming home from Mexico, I spent a couple of days at Nizuc Resort & Spa. This is a beautiful property, with a very chill vibe and amazing service. It's not an all-inclusive property, but the restaurants I had a chance to try served delicious options. Close to the Cancun airport and the Cancun hotel zone. We're about half way through our amazing adventure in southern Ireland. The beauty of this country never loses its charm for me and this has been a fantastic chance to visit some places I've never been. We started in Dublin on Saturday morning, moving on to lovely Wexford for the night. We spent the next two days in Cork, learning about the impact of the famine on the country, Ireland's role as the last stop of the Titanic before it started to cross the Atlantic, how silverware and Irish whiskey are made, and so much more. We were treated to an educational (and sometimes hilarious) Cork history lesson. We ended today in Di**le, after stops in Kenmare, Killarney, and having done the Slea Head scenic drive.

There's a reason everyone wants to come to Ireland! Stay tuned for the second half!

When you travel, there’s always amazing things to see, new foods to try, and exciting things to do. But the real charm of travel for me is the people. The strangers that become friends and remind you the world really isn’t that big.

I landed in Ireland early Saturday morning and within two hours my mobile phone was damaged. Tonight after getting a temporary replacement, I took my first picture. It’s not a great picture, but it will be one of my favourites from this trip. A trip where for three days complete strangers have shown me incredible kindness with their offers to tether devices, share pictures, and even share their phones. RIT staff who have gone above and beyond what would ever be expected to help (thank you Andrew, John, and the team).

This is why I travel.
