Congratulations to Zac McDonald on this past weekends main event win in Australia 🏁

Zac Mac claims Heartland win.

Saturday night the big Dirt Modifieds contested at Heartland Raceway with a solid field of 16 in attendance. With weather reaching up to 38° and very trying conditions, the Dirt Mods took to the track for first round of heats with some hard and fast racing. Heat 1 was taken by Zac McDonald, Tyler Scott in 2nd then Marcus Reddecliffe in 3rd. Heat 2 going to Paul Tindal, Zeke Edwards and Michael Ardley.

Round two of heat racing the track was very tricky started to slicken off. Heat three was taken out by Michael Ardley, Tyler Scott and Paul Tindal rounded out top 3 with heat 4 dominated by Zac McDonald, Daniel Edwards and Marcus Reddecliffe rounded out the top three.

The final round of heats saw a very fast and furious race up the front, but Michael Ardley would take the win with Zac McDonald and Brett Clark the top 3. Heat race 6 saw Zeke Edwards cross the line 1st, however got relegated one spot for a jumpstart which meant the rookie Jack Smith took his first heat win. Zeke Edwards 2nd and Tyler Scott round out the top three.

Feature time would be Zac McDonald off pole Micheal Ardley out of position two. McDonald would get the jump and not look back. His car looked very dominant through the feature. Ardley retired to the infield breaking the diff and ending his night. Also having some bad luck and ending on the infield was James Deahm.

Zeke Edwards put up a good fight after a stoppage but McDonald just walked away and didn’t look back. He would take victory followed by Zeke Edwards, Brett Clark, Paul Tindal, Marcus Reddecliffe, Tyler Scott, Jack Smith, Shane Ardley, Daniel Edwards and rounding out the field Rodin Blackman.

The Dig™ Pilot Series Aluminum Body Shock takes overall response and driver feel one step further. The Internal Floating Piston (which separates the oil from the nitrogen gas) utilizes a dual o-ring and wear band design to minimize a phenomena known as o-ring “Stick Slip”. This maintains the required sealing pressure and allows the floating piston to move freely back and forth – greatly improving the shock’s response and driver feel.
