When we re-did our Fireball #1 ceiling, we removed the old rusty privacy curtain track. We found a new, lightweight, flexible curtain track that can be cut to size on Amazon.

Great site with some helpful tips! One of the things we like about camping in a trailer is having a moving kitchen where we can cook and wash dishes - and avoid using disposable items. We bring a picnic bag with us, complete with dishes, silverware, and cloth napkins. That way sightseeing hikes seem much more classy and we're not creating trash while we're out enjoying nature.

Our Fireball #1 didn't come with a key for the door. After researching multiple options, including having a locksmith take a look at the door (he said RVs and trailers are a lock specialty that regular locksmiths don't deal with), we've decided we will need to replace the lock. I was able to find a new lock that is the same as the original Decker 1040-B (the model number is etched into the inside of the lock). For other vintage trailer owners who may have the same very popular lock for the time that needs replacement, here is where I found the best price and the only place I found the lock in stock:

My husband and I are the proud owners of the Fireball Trailer CO. As some of you may know, the original Fireball Industries went out of business in the 1980s and abandoned the Fireball trademark. We bought our first Fireball Trailer in 2014 and fell in love with both the trailer and the brand! We decided to see who owned the trademark and, when we found out it was available, we decided to take it over and revitalize the Fireball brand.

We are nearly done with renovations on our 1969 Meteor and will be renting it for glamping, tailgating, and parties in Colorado beginning in August 2015. We are also going to be putting the logo on clothing and other items for sale, including Rockmount classic Western shirts, an original Colorado brand (if you're not familiar with Rockmount, look them up - they're the best).
