IRELAND: CONNEMARA

Every few years we return to Ireland, to the land of Murphy, hand-knit sweaters, and cozy pubs with good music. That’s just the beginning. Then there is the coast of Connemara, rugged and gorgeous beyond description. Peat bogs along the way, sheep in the fields and the ever-friendly Irish who, without exception, all have family in America. The locals always have time to talk to you, explain the peat bogs, point you to the nearest pub, and predict what horse is going to win on Saturday. Just be sure you bike on the left side of the road. Salmon dinners, castles, gorgeous rugged coastline, kippers for breakfast, can life be better? Clifden, a former market town, and Kylemore Abbey, are just some of the great visits we have planned for you.
