😀Bob and I spent the day with Kate Dray and Melvin in Evanston at Trot For Tails which is Evanston Animal Shelters annual fundraiser.
💙We walked along Lake Michigan and Melvin participated in the agility competition. He placed 3rd out of 15 other furry competitors. We are so proud of him and Kate! Watch him go in the video.
😀After our fun time at the event, we were hungry and tried Sweet Green in downtown Evanston. It was so good!
😍Melvin came home with is for the next 2 weeks.
❤️He has already visited his Uncle Josh, Aunt Lauryn and cousins Blake and Riley.

if I was on the Scarlet Lady right now I would go to The Galley, their floating food market, and get the french toast. I would sit outside on the deck and watch the wake, one of my favorite things to do on a cruise.
The Scarlet Lady has six unique themed restaurants and many fast/casual locations.

🚶♀️🚗🚐🚠🚄⛴Location - Next thing to think about is where you want your Disney resort to be located. There are so many onsite options with different transportation options. Do you want to walk, have multiple transportation options, use the Skyliner, monorail, etc.? Remember the closer you are to the parks and the more transportation options there are the more expensive the resort will be.

Day One:
💰Budget - Most of us don’t have an unlimited budget when booking a Disney vacation so it’s important to come up with a realistic budget. You will want determine how much you can spend on your entire vacation (Disney package, airfare or driving expenses, food, and incidentals, then break it down to include the components on the package - room, tickets, Disney Genie+, Individual Lightning Lane purchases, Memory Maker and Travel Insurance. This will help determine which resort is in your budget.
Your budget is a personal decision and should be discussed in detail before you start the planning process. It can always be adjusted.
