We see you out there. Driving the kids to school before starting the rest of your day. Why not get paid to take the kids to school? We see no reason not to. Join our team as a school bus attendant or CDL driver.

No need to have prior experience, we have that covered. We train and pay for those expenses to get you ready and out there on the road. Interested? Stop on by or apply online to learn more.

💞❣️💝💖 What a Year 💞❣️💝💖

We just delivered our weekly batch of food and essentials to the Missoula Food Bank. And with everyone's help we exceeded our goal for 2024 with a current total of 2,379 lbs!

Thank you to everyone that help out this year and made all of this possible. We will post a final count next week since we still have those straggler donations coming in even after today's haul! You are all amazing. Have a wonderful winter break however you celebrate.

🍉🍊The Pounds keep coming!🍉🍊

Welcome back for another great week at Beach Transportation. It's time for your quick weekly update on the annual Missoula Food Bank food drive. This week, all the employees keep on crushing it by adding an additional 632lbs! (We are really liking that 32lbs ending number).

The total now stands at 1,364 lbs. We have just one more week to go for the food drive due to the Winter break schedule this year. Keep up the amazing work!

❗That's a lot of buses❗

Yeah, this photo captures one of the many events that we cater to through out the year (in this case the Lady Griz Basketball game where MCPS took all schools to see the game!) This is a great example of how big our fleet is and how important it is to have your children know what buses they are scheduled to ride. We have gotten many calls from parents when their child accidently rides the wrong bus or gets off at the wrong stops.

💖Please help us make sure your children get home safely by teaching them where their stops are located at prior to their first day of school or if you move. Our drivers do their best with the various schools they go to, but here are some helpful tips to make sure you arrive at the correct school.

🏫MCPS can view all bus stops by typing your address online:https://buff.ly/3Sy4wqq

🏫Register with your school to get permission to ride the bus. This allows us to see their bussing information entered by school administrators in the systems.

🏫Teach kids their stops by driving around showing landmarks they can identify close to home.

🏫If they have trouble remembering, make a tag for their backpack that has bus numbers and drop off/pick up locations.

🔍👓Are you focused? 🔍👓

Did you know that our school buses do not have radios that play music installed? Although we have 2-way radios for communication, Beach Transportation made the conscious decision to not have other radios installed. We try to make sure that our top priority is the safety of the bus and its passengers. This includes minimizing distractions like: noise, food, things that can move/roll on the bus, and passenger movement while the vehicle is in motion.

Here are some things you can do to help us keep everyone safe!

🚌Do not play music loudly over portable devices or cell phones.

🚌Stay seated while the bus is in motion (and buckle up when seatbelts are provided- which is at 90% of our fleet).

🚌Do not throw objects to others on the bus. Wait till you get off or have arrived.

🚌Be kind with language and keep hands and feet to yourself. It is sometimes hard for a moving bus with a driver concentrating on the road to see/help with situations between students. If in doubt, ask to move seats away from others you may not get along with.

🚌Most of our newer models have the wiring compatible with cameras on board. As you can imagine, the older ones may not. As new buses enter our fleet, we equip them with cameras to help with safety.

Lastly Missoula, thank you for your help in keeping the roads safe. Please minimize your distractions while driving!

🍉🍊Look at that!🍉🍊

The annual employee food drive is well underway. And boy-howdy did all of our employees really show why they are the best in Missoula. For the first week of our food drive, 732lbs of food, non-perishables and home good necessities were donated to the Missoula Food Bank. That is incredible!!

So proud to be a part of the Beach Transportation family. Your hearts really show for the Missoula community.

It's officially the first week to the start of our annual employee of the food drive! Join us in gathering food from December 2 -23rd . Help us meet a new record by bringing in canned goods, home goods, bulk products and non-perishables to the Beach Transportation's office. Every Friday, we will be posting the total pounds donated and turned into the Missoula Food Bank.

We have rounded that corner and are approaching the last month of the year. Our annual Beach Transportation food drive will run from December 2-23rd, 2024. Watch our social media channels for weekly updates on Fridays as we weigh in at the Missoula Food Bank!

Last year, we were able to donate 1,804 lbs and this year we would like to have a goal of 2024 lbs for 2024! Stay tuned as we donate.
