Wandering Puffin LLC My passion for travel started at a very young age. At age twelve, for one year, I lived in Poitiers, France, where I was truly immersed in the culture.

In an effort to further my experiences and education, I try to travel in Europe and other overseas destinations, several times a year, revisiting many of the destinations I arrange, but also try to add new adventures to each experience, so I am able to bring these experiences to my current and new clients like you. I have experienced river cruises, self drives, ocean cruising and train travel, so I can provide you the nuances of each experience in deciding what is the best option or combination for you. I have over 24 years experience in the travel industry, including owning my own agency now in its 15th year. I have participated in many destination training programs related to the destinations I sell, both in the United States and abroad. This has allowed me to develop very good business relationships and partnerships, and have access to many resources so that I am able to provide you the best value and expertise for your next travel adventure throughout the world. If I don't know the answer, I will find it out as a professional educator, as well. I have been privileged to earn the trust of clients from all over the country as well as Canada and Australia, and in Europe, so distance is not a problem in putting together your next travel adventure. Whether your interests include castle stays in Germany or Ireland, a wine or culinary experience in places like France, Spain or Italy, getting off the beaten path in countries like Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia or even Austria, cruising the Fjords of Norway or river cruising or barging one of Europe's spectacular rivers lined with history and culture as varied as Europe itself or any unique requirements that fulfill your discriminating palate, I know that I can put together a customized travel adventure that is as unique as you are. I am not limited to certain service providers, so if there is something special or unique you want to enhance your adventure,let me know and I will seek it out. I am able to provide references from clients who have used my services in the Twin Cities area and the rest of the country over the past 24 years. I am a member of the local Better Business Bureau of Minnesota/North Dakota. As a travel professional, I pride myself in giving each and every client the time they deserve to make sure that their expectations are exceeded. It has a been a past several days of business and pleasure. A working holiday away from Rome. Yes, my second time in London this month and one that was extremely productive. Home is Rome, but London, in a way is a second home with the number of travel trade shows I attend each year, and all different. This was a focus of Africa. How much do you know about Africa. Anyone old enough to remember Room 222, an old tv show on so many years ago. This post, of course, has nothing to do with that, but given it is my 222nd blogpost, having started back as the pandemic was getting it grip on the world, well, it just came to mind, so I mentioned. it. Thank you so much as always for your support of our crazy little world that gets crazier everyday and unfortunately, I do find myself getting caught up to the events unfolding in my country, and have no intentions of returning, but I sometimes go down that rabbit hole and have a hard time getting out.

Our Story

My passion for travel started at a very young age. At age twelve, I lived in Poitiers, France for one year. I have since crossed the pond many times spending considerable time in over 45 European countries and having traveled to almost 80 in the world. I have also had the chance to cross the Pacific to places such as China, Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore (and crossed over into Malaysia) and most recently, I was in Argentina, in places like Patagonia, Iguassu Falls (and across to the Brazilian side), and of course, time in and around Buenos Aires and the Pampas. I can arrange your Asian, South American, African adventures (been to Kenya and Morocco), as well as many other parts of the world, including Israel and Jordan. I have many local contacts in most countries in the world with whom I work to give unique and more specialized experiences for my valued clients and they will know that they will be taken care of by a local who is passionate about their home and handle my clients with a white glove treatment since they are there on the ground in the amazing destinations. I also handle domestic travel and have personally been to all 50 states, more than once and beyond, with the exception of Hawaii, only once, but that too will change. Again, having the right partners and I do, is paramount here in the states and internationally.

In an effort to further my experiences and education, I try to travel in Europe several times a year (until this year, due to Covid - 19), revisiting many of the destinations I arrange, but also trying to new adventures and new locations in the European countries I have visited before, with most recently, Sicily, Malta, Poland and the Lapland of Finland. In a normal year, I attend several international and domestic travel trade shows and conferences to meet new travel partners and re-connect with existing trade partners to strengthen the relationships I have developed, so I can offer my valued clientele more individualized and unique experiences, even in the more common travel destinations.

Because I have traveled to many different places in many different countries around the world and domestically, I can bring a personal account to the travels I arrange for you and as an educator by training, bring more insight to the experience for my clients and explain the nuances of the destination or experience the client is about to embark on. If I do not know the answer or concern, I have the human resources around the world to address what is most important to my clients and I will find out the most current information. This way my clients can make the most informed and educated decisions and be a part of their travel planning process.

I have over 23 years of professional travel planning experience in the travel industry, including owning my own agency now in its 13th year. As noted, I have participated in many destination training programs related to the destinations I sell, both in the United States and abroad. This has allowed me to develop relationships and have access to many resources so that I am able to provide you the best value and expertise for your next travel adventure.
