Behold! Our iconic sign is back and rivals the original 1960 version in beauty! It was completely replaced in 2003 due to structural issues. This colorful replacement is as similar to the original as possible, though the sign had many different looks over the years - at one time sporting a toucan instead of flowers! We are proud to maintain such a character-defining aspect of Sunken Gardens and all of St. Petersburg. The work has been a labor of love for us and Thomas Sign & Awning Company, Inc.
