Summer happy memories of vacations on Biscay

This season has been fantastic! Delightful guests have enjoyed great weather. Soon the Dock and float, outdoor furniture and deck furniture will be stored for the winter. It has been my pleasure to greet new and longtime Biscay Sunset guests.

Ice Out was April 11th. After a beautiful snowy winter the lake level is high.
Cottage rental weeks are still available June 17 through July 22 and again available August 26 through October. Larsons Lunch Box opened May 1st. More seasonal Restaurants & Lobster Docks will be opening on Memorial Day Weekend. We are gearing up for the Party on the Pier June 22, Pirate Invasion on June 24, Round Pond Parade at noon on July 4th, Pemaquid Watershed Association Ducky Race is July 8 at 2 PM and the Pumpkin Festival is October 6-9.
The state of Maine stocked brook Trout in the River. Paddling groups have posted their free fresh and salt water guided paddles throughout the mid-coast. More hiking trails have been created. The Lincoln Theater has diverse productions and excellent movies.

There is always something fun, adventuresome or educational to do in this thriving community! More than I cam mentio here...

"Biscay Sunset" is winterized and ready for the cold and snow. The dock, float, deck & lawn furniture and Gas grill are stored. Guests enjoyed exceptional weather last spring, summer and fall. 2016 was a fantastic season. With little rain, the lake was lower & more of the beach area was exposed. This week we had lots of rain and the lake level is rising.
I expect guests will begin scheduling 2017 reservations after New Years. April will be here before we know it!

2014 has been an incredibly beautiful summer. Vacationers at "Biscay Sunsets" are enjoying the new double hammock. Sometimes it's under the shade of tall pines, sometimes in the sunny field. Mid-day naps after swims off the dock seem to be part of the way life should be....
