How Wonder Escapades Came to Be
It was only appropriate during my family's road trip to Colorado that John Denver's "Rocky Mountain High" played as I gaped seeing the majestic Rocky Mountains for the first time. With the help of others and under very serendipitous circumstances, I finally made the leap two years later to chart a new future.
Now, I'm hoping through Wonder Escapades, I can focus on aspects that mean most to me - to relish in the great outdoors, enjoy life's precious moments through living authentic experiences and to bring people closer to themselves and each other.
My inner soul has been easily captivated by Colorado's endless meadows teeming with wildflowers, geological formations evocative of the desert Southwest, rushing rivers meandering through pristine wilderness areas and sunsets I couldn't believe existed.
Then there's the people. From strangers who have offered me a beer after completing my first 14er hike, a good samaritan patiently making sure that I was okay changing one of my flat tires and to a couple who ultimately convinced me to bring Wonder Escapades to life. This is the Colorado I became connected to.
