๐ณIn preparation for creating Disneyโs Animal Kingdom, a core team of seven Walt Disney Imagineers, led by Creative Portfolio Executive Joe Rohde, crisscrossed the globe in search of the essential look of life in the wild. The team traveled more than 500,000 miles . . . a distance equal to circling the globe 20 times.
๐ณTen artists and three Imagineers worked full-time for 18 months to create the 325 animal carvings on The Tree of Life. Sculptors had between six and 10 hours to create the finished image before the plaster hardened.

This favorite event transforms Magic Kingdom Park into a winter wonderland for the most magical 23 days of the year & yes-this year, we are adding an extra day to the parties!

Mickeyโs Very Merry Christmas Party takes place from 7:00 PM to midnight on the following dates in 2019:

Well...first you have to ask yourself some questions:
-Do you like near empty theme parks?
-Do you like little to no wait times for major attractions?
-Do you like crowd-less photos with park icons like Cinderella's castle?
-Do you like unlimited drinks & snacks such as popcorn & Mickey bars?
If you answered yes to any or all of the above, then YES- After Hours is worth it!!
It's an exciting day, as Disney just released more dates for After Hours events for 3 of the parks through June of this year!!
Here are the new dates for each park at the Walt Disney World Resort:

๐May 1 โ Guests can celebrate Disneyโs Hollywood Studios 30th anniversary with special anniversary merchandise, additional character greetings and more food & beverage offerings to purchase.
โญ๏ธMay 4 โ Guests can celebrate May the Fourth dressed in their best galactic Star Wars attire. They can experience epic Character Encounters including Chewbacca with REY, Darth Vadar, Kylo Ren with CAPTAIN PHASMA, Ewoks, Jawas and imperial stormtroopers. Plus, specialty treats available for purchase. (Just be sure your Clients costume fits within park guidelines!)
These events are the perfect opportunity to experience the magic of a Disney theme park for three hours after regular park hours, with limited attendance, which means little-to-no wait for attractions, experiences and character greetings. The event ticket also allows early entry into the park, beginning at 7 p.m.

Disney's Port Orleansโ French Quarter has more of a Mardi Gras vibe, with a Big Easy atmosphere and all that jazz. This resort even has beignets at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory! They are fantastic and of course theyโre Mickey shaped.
