AZ LOCAL Magazine, an online general interest publication providing the sights and sounds of local events, news, food, restaurant reviews, highlights on local businesses, non-profits and government agencies and what's happening in the East/Southeast Valley, launched with great success on July 3rd with more that 5,000 unique visitors reading it's pages. "We started with the East/Southeast Valley be
cause that is where the staff lives and is what we know," said Angela Smith, AZ LOCAL Magazine Editor in Chief. "Down the road there will be editions for the West Valley, North and Central Phoenix as well as our East/Southeast Valley flagship edition. We've had interest in the West Valley and areas outside the Valley already." "At AZ LOCAL, we are seeking the best information that local areas have to offer," said AZ LOCAL Magazine Managing Editor Tanya Ruth. "In the July issue you will find a photo story called, Inside the PCSO (Pinal County Sheriff's Office) with follow up stories and interviews scheduled in August, Are You Ready for Monsoon Season, summer safety tips written by Rural Metro Fire Department and trip advice from a local auto repair service. There are also restaurant and blog reviews and so much more. We write about the best food, businesses, things to do and events and provide thought provoking stories and information that local residents should know about their government and area. We give readers the best possible experience and connect our advertisers with a very passionate audience." The July issue of AZ LOCAL Magazine is live at: http://keepitlocalarizona.com/azlocal/ where it can be read online, downloaded as a PDF file and read off line or viewed as a Flipbook online. "We want our readers to be able to view and read AZ LOCAL everywhere and in every format they have available to them," said Creative Director Chris Connell. "Whether you have a desktop, laptop, tablet, cell phone or printer you can enjoy the articles, features and photos, almost all of which was submitted by your neighbors." In August, AZ LOCAL Magazine got a new home, http://azlocalmagazine.com, and featured pets and animals with stories from rescues, animal control, pet related businesses and others. More stories were written and more photos were taken by local residents too. New advertising opportunities are available to reach the thousands of devoted readers who subscribed. "Our total readership is growing by leaps and bounds and we were averaging 30-40 new subscribers daily even before we launched," said Smith. "For a new, localized, online publication that's pretty good." In September, AZ LOCAL will bring you features on Health & Fitness and Healthcare with stories from many successful companies in the East Valley. October is all about Education, from Pre-K through Post Secondary schools while November will help you get ready for the holidays. December is about Celebration and the New Year.
