Given several recent inquiries, I wanted to clarify that Headwaters Trail Race will not be taking place this year. I attempted to pass the race along to another organizer, but to no avail. Tents and water jugs have since been donated to Friends of Panthertown Valley.

It's with a heavy heart to say that I have chosen not to take any more bookings for White Dot Adventures this 2023 season, and I'm not quite sure if Headwaters Trail Race will take place yet, thus the delay in posting any updates.

Thanks for making for a fun 4+ years for me, my guides, and Geronimo! But it's time for a season to reflect on where the business may head next.

This past Saturday, Katy ran the Art Loeb in just over 10 hours, led by guide, Matt Morelli! They braved the morning storms and got out of the higher elevations before the winds really set in. Aid stations were set up around miles 12 and 19, and the finish was at Ecusta Brewing. Congrats on a strong finish!

Jeremy and I hit someone the old mining roads and fall line trails along the Black Mountains earlier this week. The clouds and epic views were incredible, so I took this video just before we crossed over into the clouds and finished our run in the downpour.

We're more than your average city or sightseeing running tour. Centered around Pisgah and Nantahala National Forests, our Trail Running Tours are designed to accommodate runners of any background. If you’re new to running or have simply never tried trail running, we offer both short and beginner-friendly tours starting at just 5k. Seasoned trail and ultra runners on the other hand, will enjoy our 15+ mile adventures designed and led by local athletes.
