Something new for the USA folks when you travel into the UK (including Northern Ireland). £10 isn't a lot of you travel alone but for a family it ads up. And yes you need it even if you're just passing through the airport (think JFK, Heathrow, Rome). It's good for 2 years. Opens up for applications for Americans in November, required starting 8 January 2025. I wouldn't wait til the last minute.

The UK Home Office has announced dates for the worldwide rollout of its Electronic Travel Authorisation scheme.

If you enjoy gin, I have a really fun small group activity for you! Pixel Spirit School. 6 of us made our own bottles of gin, choosing our own botanicals. Craig made it fun all while teaching us all about what we we doing. Totally worth it!
