It has been a busy 2024 so far…
At long last that “someday” is here! A production kitchen of our own; in the heart of Spenard. There is still more work to be done before the official reveal but we will be going live next week! This is going to be a game changer…

There have been plenty of ups and downs over the last five years of operation. Creating something that didn’t exist before takes a lot of work. We learn from our mistakes and improve the process as we go. Each week becomes another opportunity to execute and improve as we prepare for the next step…

I saw some old friends last weekend at the@safm_amfm and am thrilled by what’s starting to show up. and their beautiful chestnuts are going to pair with the pork loin this week.
provided the centerpiece bouquet and amazing spinach for our beef 3cheese ravioli made by
Mat-Su Microgreens blew me away with their nasturtium sprouts and can’t wait to see how they pair with the pork belly🤤

This dish came together beautifully and quite different than what I’d originally imagined. It turned out better than I imagined…
Cooking at the edge of the envelope with pros that know the craft brings me great joy each week! Pushing ourselves to be better in the kitchen each week is helping us redefine what to expect from meal prep.

Over four years ago put out its first weekly menu. From a few dozen weekly to a few hundred each week, Ember has been constantly evolving. Designing menu items and operational systems that withstand the rigors of scaling up has been no small task. This task would have been impossible without a team of committed professionals pushing me to be a better chef. Words fail to express the gratitude that I have for the work you do and have done to make this dream a reality. Thank all of you with every fiber of by being!

Ember Custom Foods is a brand I have been developing over the winter. These macro based ready-to-eat meals are hand crafted with a focus on balanced nutrition and flavor. As the summer progresses, I am excited to add more local ingredients into the lineup.
Each week’s menu consists of five dishes selected from an ever growing list of entrees to choose from. I offer packages of 5 meals for $60 and 10 meals for $115 and ala cart pricing is available on request. By using simple techniques and the freshest ingredients, my goal is to put forth the highest quality meal prep service in the state.
