Great Fall day in the mountains to stack a truck load of wood at both houses. Finally got a small rack for the Falls house. It was way overdue. Love a good up and back drive with some weight lifting in between for a successful days work.

Just wanted to shout out to Sam Moulding from Montana for getting my hat to me! She is a Realtor, Hunter, Horse trainer, and a Jesus Lover. She is basically a bad ass living her best life in the beautiful state of Montana. Love her brand and her spirit and wearing her hat makes me😊. Thanks Sam!

The chaos in the garden echoed the chaos in my head. Called a sister/friend today and started crying over Florida and WNC. I have done a small bit to help but my heart is just overwhelmed.

Clearing out the dying Zinnias and weeds I found these 2 beautiful Dhalias. I did not think they had survived the drought and heat of summer yet here they were smiling their beautiful faces towards me despite being choked and unseen.

We see you. All the hurting. And our hearts break for yours. Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” These little forgotten plantings let my heart have a minute of Joy. I Pray they do the same for you.

This guy ☝️Tim Pennington a almost stranger was an angel sent from God today. I had guest I could not contact in the Falls house and I had no way of knowing if they were okay and my house was still there. I met Tim through IG and knew he lived close to my property. Not only did he go check on them, he went home and got his chainsaw and shovel and got them out of a very rutted driveway. Then he had them follow him to Galax by the only route they could have taken. I have no words for the kindness of strangers. What can you say. I am forever grateful for everyday angels. 🙏🏻 Thank you for being one to me today.

Dear Caroline,
It’s funny how the tides of our lives intersect with others’. Our currents run parallel. I sometimes think the universe just wants us to recognize how connected we really are. How much we need humanity to ground us, lift us, help us navigate those currents.

I took a rock from your front porch bowl. I wrote Leslie’s name on it. I put it in the waterfall.

I say all this to thank you. As I age, I feel, selfishly, invisible. Your home, your spirit, made me feel seen.

That is your gift, dear friend…to see. What a beautiful gift.

In my 57 years of life I have never bought a piece of jewelry for myself that was probably over $30 seriously. I shop thrift stores and buy used cars. I like to spend money on real estate and things that matter. That was until I happened upon Leanne’s creations. Dang you and thank you Instagram for connecting all of us.

Having lived out West and especially Oregon and Arizona I instantly connected with her pieces. She does not do custom orders but rather collections from inspiration.

When I saw this piece on her jewelry drop I knew I had to have it. It was in and out of my cart numerous times until I had another glass of wine and hit the purchase button.

I can not begin to describe the feeling of wearing a custom piece of jewelry that represents a part of you in the world. Check out her collections . She speaks the language of my soul when it comes to adornment. Thank you Leanne for modifying the original so I could adjust the length of the chain. Just feel blessed to be able to be wearing this piece.

Can’t say enough about this Alabama marketing genius! My big wish for the past 5 years is to have a website where individuals can book direct with me. So…..There was a Boho themed off grid wedding at the church 🤍💍 The best part? People could not be on their phones but to take pictures❤️ We were actually talking and socializing. It was a thing of beauty.

That waterfall is a unique thing of beauty and the fall air's crispness only makes the stars all the warmer. Thanks you so much for sharing such a delightful spot on earth.

Pleased to say the Falls and Bunkhouse are making the switch to this product! Tried 1 strip on a full load in my front loader at home and was pleasantly surprised when my sons very dirty pants came out clean. They are not paying me to advertise, but check out the size of the 32 load box! For every 96 load box you purchase a tree will be planted. It’s a win win. No more of those freaking nasty plastic jugs in the landfill. So excited to find this product and that it works!

Pretty stoked about finding the perfect pendant lamp for this area . The Vicente natural seagrass was my choice due to its irregularities. It looks and feels handmade. I found a 32 foot cord that looked the part of rope on Amazon. Wouldn’t you know I spent 1 hour of my life making the hole bigger in the pendant for the cord to fit through. Anyhow it looks amazing and fits the spot perfectly.
