Miami Spice 2019. This week I choose Zuma Miami. An international contemporary modern Japanese cuisine located in the Kimpton Epic Hotel. I enjoyed a 4 course meal mixture of sushi, japanese herbs, well seasoned burst of flavors while dining on the Miami river.
Great place to enjoy family time or socializing with friends. The scenery is bright, and relaxing.
Every dish was executed perfectly especially the roasted corn in shishumu butter/ herbs And the octopus in a lime creamy sauce mixed with ginger teriyaki, potatoes, and pickled tomatoes.
This is the best Greek restaurant in Miami beach, I've experienced as a event planner. I have been to several other restaurants in the mia and lauderdale area. But Santorini by Georgios has been the most authentic Greek restaurant ever.
I was greeted by Maria and The Owner Georgios who was full of energy and very Greek. He made sure we were taking to The best seat in the resturant and treated us to a glass of champagne on him. Our waiter Demetrius was so knowledgeable about The dishes, how it's made prepared, seasoned, cooked, and where it all come from. Even shared stories of growing up on these dishes. He was awesome. And the menu prices were very reasonable.
He recommended The lamb, Greek salad, and branzino fish (similar to sea bass). It literally all melt in ur mouth and cooked to perfection with bursting flavors...all night I got to experience one of there traditions of plate smashing. Which symbolizes friendship is everything. So everytime a plate is smashed we celebrated, clapped, and yelled "OPA". The best experience ever. I truely felt welcomed and spent a night in santorini for dinner with my friends.
Santorini by Georgios has been added as one of my favorite resturants. I will definitely recommend to my family, friends, and clients for date night, special occasions, or just to enjoy a plate of authentic Greek food.
