Moore's Mill was run by George and Clint Moore and founded by their Parents John Thomas Moore and Sarah Tucker Sanders Moore in the early 1900's His father and mother were from Spartanburg, SC James Moore and Souson Moore.. and Anie Moore of Spartanburg, SC... The Mill outside of Vernon, AL was an important landmark to the local economy as it contributed to the local corn mill and flour mill of the community for the small agricultural town of west Alabama.
